BREATH Success: UWS PhD student Kirsty McCallum successfully defends thesis at viva

Kirsty McCallum successfully undertook her viva voce examination on the 9th Sep, defending a doctoral thesis entitled: Pulmonary Ageing in COPD.

Her examiners included external, Dr Amanda Tatler from University of Nottingham, and internals, Dr Farah -Hijazi and Professor Fiona Henriquez-Mui (UWS).

Congratulations Dr McCallum – and well done to the supervisory team, led by Dr Gary Litherland.
