Congratulations to BREATH (INTERREG VA programme, SEUPB) PhD students Orla Dunne and Nicola Roe who were highly commended for their poster presentations, judged by visiting external speakers at the REMERGE symposium at Queen’s University Belfast (14th Oct 2019). REMERGE is a multidisciplinary team of academic and clinical researchers, with a focus on using regenerative medicine techniques to study and treat a range of clinical conditions. The REMERGE symposium 2019 was sponsored by the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine and the Health and Social Care, Research and Development Office, Northern Ireland. In addition to PhD students and staff attendance from throughout the University, the REMERGE symposium enjoyed patient and public participation from PIER NI (Public Involvement Enhancing Research, Norther Ireland).
