BREATH Success: UWS PhD student Carly Woods successfully defends thesis at viva

Carly Woods successfully undertook her viva voce examination on the 30th October, defending a doctoral thesis entitled: Particulate Matter and Potential Health Impacts in a Remote Environment.

Her examiners included external, Dr Gillian MacKinnon from Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre (SUERC) / The University of Glasgow, and internals, Dr Kiri Rodgers and Dr Stuart Woods (UWS).

Congratulations Dr Woods and well done to the supervisory team: Dr Iain McLellan (Primary), Dr Gary Litherland,  Prof Hursthouse and Prof Lockhart.
