BREATH Success: UWS PhD student Mariarca Bailo successfully defends thesis at viva

Mariarca Bailo successfully undertook her viva voce examination on the 24th June defending a doctoral thesis entitled: Understanding PAR2 regulation of lung epithelial cell effector responses relevant to COPD.

Her examiners included external, Dr Chris Scotton from University of Exeter and Dr Gail McGarvie (UWS).

Congratulations Dr Bailo – and well done to the supervisory team, led by Dr Anne Crilly.
