BREATH PI Mark Hollywood receives the ‘Patent Award’ on behalf on the Smooth Muscle Research Centre team, from @DkIT_ie at the Research Awards. This follows the award of their patent on GoSlo family of ion channel modulators.

BREATH PhD Team Visit GlaxoSmithKline

To provide industry-focused training, 17 PhD students fromBREATH were invited to the Brentford and Stevenage GSK sites for a 2day visit. They formed part of a larger BREATH team of 35 scientists from the Dundalk Institute of Technology, Queen’s University Belfast and the University of the West of Scotland.
